Route: Sankri → Taluka (drive) → Osla (trek). Activities: A short drive from Sankri to Taluka, from where the trek begins. Start trekking through dense forests, rivers, and waterfalls. The trail passes through beautiful villages and farmlands. Reach the village of Osla by late afternoon. Overnight stay: Osla (altitude 8,400 ft) in a homestay or tent.
Activity: Begin trekking towards the Har Ki Dun Valley, crossing meadows, and streams with stunning views of the Swargarohini peak. The trek is moderately challenging but offers breathtaking mountain views and pristine landscapes. Reach Har Ki Dun by late afternoon. Overnight stay: Campsite in Har Ki Dun (altitude 11,700 ft).
Activity: Spend the day exploring the Har Ki Dun Valley. Optional short hikes: Visit Jaundhar Glacier or Morinda Tal for panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Relax, take photos, and enjoy the beauty of this Himalayan valley. Overnight stay: Campsite in Har Ki Dun
Activity: After breakfast, begin the trek back to Osla. Retrace your steps, enjoying the changing views of the valley and mountains. Reach Osla by late afternoon and rest. Overnight stay: Osla.
Activity: Trek from Osla back to Taluka through the same scenic route. From Taluka, drive back to Sankri. Enjoy your last evening in the village of Sankri. Overnight stay: Sankri.
Activity: Early morning drive back to Dehradun, completing your trek. You can explore Dehradun or Mussoorie if you have time before your return.
